Encryption:

Advantage Credit Union’s On-line Banking (MemberDirectâ), On-line Trading and On-Line Application Forms use 128-bit encryption, a technology that scrambles information transmitted over the Internet.  128-bit encryption is currently the most secure form of encryption generally available.  Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer offer 128-bit encryption capabilities with versions 4.0 or higher.

E-Mail:

Caution should be used when sending information via E-mail.  Unprotected e-mail communication is not secure, and normally should not include confidential information such as account numbers.  However, to ensure the privacy of your personal information, the e-mail links to ‘contact us’ on our site use a secure server, so any information you include remains protected.

Passwords:

Logon ID’s and Passwords are required to access On-line Banking (MemberDirectâ) and On-line Trading.  Advantage Credit Union puts forth great effort to provide secure Internet Services, but members also have responsibilities to ensure the security of their personal information: Passwords must be selected and kept secure - do not share your passwords with anyone and  Log off of secure sites when leaving your PC.
