Marion Weisgerber is a Certified Financial Planner® with 35+ years
experience in the financial services industry. She is on the board of the
Canadian Institute of Financial Planners as past Chair and founding Director,
of which she served as Chair in 2006-2007. Marion is also a member of the Public Legal
Education Association (PLEA), the Sask CU Wealth
User Group and Sask Chapter of CIFPs
and is currently serving as a member of the Government and Regulatory
Committee of CIFPs to promote regulation and
clarify financial planning nationwide.
Marion received her Elder Planning Counselor (EPC)
designation in 2008, which allows her to look beyond the numbers and assist
clients in understanding their specific needs with options and information on
products or services that best suit their livestyle
and evolving circumstances.
Since
she began her career, she has worked in the areas of ag,
consumer and residential lending; as a mutual fund and investment specialist;
and served as a Branch Compliance Officer for mutual funds prior to
specializing in financial planning.
Kim Stratulat is a Certified Financial Planner® with over 25+
years experience in the financial services industry. Over the years, he
worked as a financial consultant, mortgage specialist and Associate Regional
Director with the role of recruiting, training and development of financial
planners, as well as compliance.
Marion and Kim provide
comprehensive financial planning services to our 17 branch locations and
surrounding areas. Their services include: Estate Planning and
Administration, Investment Planning, Education Planning, Tax Planning,
Insurance Planning, Retirement Planning, Trust Services, Business and Farm
Succession Planning, Debt Management and a complete financial plan which
takes you through the six steps listed above. They work closely with
Advantage Credit Union’s in-house investment and insurance specialists, along
with Meyers, Norris and Penny when required for more complex farm and business
succession planning circumstances.
